Studio
Architecture and urban planning from Barcelona. More than thirty years designing, refurbishing and building.
SANROS
The studio's name joins the surnames of its architects: Sansón and Rossell.
Antonio Sansón Díaz-Mayordomo studied at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and in 1992 began working with the architect Miquel Álvarez Trincado. Together they designed and built numerous residential, healthcare, sports, educational and hotel buildings, and developed a range of urban plans.
In 2006 he became Miquel Álvarez's partner and the practice grew in Catalonia, across Spain and abroad, with a clear aim: to offer each client a complete architecture and construction service, from advice on buying the land to handing over the fully finished project.
Today the studio works with teams specialised in each area of real estate — public and private housing, hospitality, healthcare and administration — and collaborates with public authorities on urban planning.

Principles

01
Refurbishment
Working with existing buildings is a direct way of making the city. Much of our work brings buildings in the Eixample and the old town back to life.

02
Sustainability
Efficient, durable projects, designed with their upkeep and their impact on the urban and social surroundings in mind.

03
Innovation
New technologies and design tools serving quality, cost and schedule.

How we work
We can take on an entire project or work on specific stages when the client already has the professional support in place. The aim never changes: high-quality, functional buildings that give those who commission them the greatest satisfaction and return.
